For the first time in history, the names of female composers were projected onto the Victoria Hall in Geneva
Last month, the music organization Les Inoubliables launched an ambitious project in Geneva, Switzerland:
"For the first time in history, the names of female composers were projected onto the Victoria Hall in Geneva – currently, only names of male composers are carved into the buildings stone walls.
"Les Inoubliables aspires to shine the light on working and living female composers."
- from Les Inoubliables, whose work you can find here.
The projections were created by visual artist Sophie Le Meillour, based in Switzerland. I am so honored to join the ranks of these composers.
